WHEN YOU CAN APPLY:

We accept applications all year round but we assess them twice a year, those received by 31st May are assessed in June and those received by 30th November are assessed in December.

TO BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY YOU MUST:

  • Have Cystic Fibrosis.
  • Be a UK resident.
  • Want help to take a course at an accredited university, college or other educational institution or course provider.
  • Be 18 or over at the time your course is due to start or, if you are not moving into formal further education and you wish to undertake vocational training instead, you can apply when you are 16 or 17 as well.

I had finished my Level 2qualification last year but found out I would no longer receive funding for my course but because of the JLEF I have been able to continue my studies.
